Manpower Cyprus is recruiting on behalf of a leading client for an Area Manager to oversee two premium coffee boutiques in Nicosia and Larnaca. The successful candidate will ensure consistent brand standards, exceptional customer experience, strong commercial performance, and full operational compliance across both locations. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who is passionate about coffee and premium service.

 

Main duties & responsibilities

  • Ensure full implementation of brand guidelines, SOPs, visual merchandising standards, and opening/closing procedures
  • Drive customer experience excellence by ensuring tastings, recipes, and machine demonstrations are offered to every customer
  • Monitor service quality, promote First Contact Resolution, and manage escalated customer issues when required
  • Lead, coach, and develop boutique managers and teams through feedback, shadowing, role-plays, and performance follow-up
  • Ensure effective communication and execution of campaigns, launches, and operational updates
  • Maintain strong operational control: boutique standards, daily quality checks, and equipment readiness
  • Oversee cash handling, petty cash reconciliation, bank deposits, attendance, punctuality, and roster adherence
  • Manage stock accuracy and availability (FIFO/FEFO, weekly stock counts), recycling procedures and tracking, and ongoing audit readiness
  • Maintain GDPR compliance, ensuring documentation is correctly completed and data is accurately updated in systems
  • Provide shift coverage and support on the shop floor when boutiques are short-staffed

Skills & qualifications

  • Proven experience in multi-site retail management (premium retail and/or hospitality environment preferred)
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management capability
  • Genuine passion for coffee and delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • KPI-driven mindset with strong commercial awareness and reporting skills
  • High attention to detail across compliance, VM standards, cash controls, and stock management
  • Confident with retail systems and admin processes (Soft1 experience is an advantage)
  • Flexibility to work across Nicosia and Larnaca and support operational needs when required
