A leading FinTech organization in Cyprus is seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Sales Manager to join its expanding and established sales team based in Limassol. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and growing innovative financial technology solutions among large enterprise clients within the Limassol region. This role requires close collaboration with sales executives during meetings with senior decision-makers, identifying opportunities to enhance service offerings, and developing new strategic client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement and Relationship Building

  • Proactively visit potential and existing clients within Limassol to promote a suite of advanced FinTech services and products
  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the region
  • Support sales executives in meetings with senior decision-makers to facilitate negotiations and build strong client partnerships

Sales Strategy and Execution

  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand the company's FinTech service offerings or establish new client relationships within Limassol
  • Implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth and bolster the organization’s market presence in the region
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to uncover new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge

Team Leadership and Development

  • Collaborate with sales executives to formulate and execute robust sales strategies
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance
  • Conduct training sessions aimed at enhancing the team’s FinTech knowledge and sales skills

Performance Monitoring and Reporting

  • Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare comprehensive reports for senior management
  • Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective action plans as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
  • Proven experience as an Area Sales Manager or similar role, ideally in the FinTech or financial services sector
  • Demonstrated record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
  • Willingness and ability to travel within Limassol as necessary

Preferred Skills

  • Previous experience in FinTech, financial services, logistics, or hospitality will be regarded as an asset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and develop a high-performing team
