An excellent opportunity has arisen within the Manufacturing Industry. Manpower Cyprus, on behalf of our client a global electrical protection and connectivity solutions company, we are seeking to recruit an Assistant Production Supervisor to join their expanding team based in Dali, Nicosia.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise various assembly operations for subassemblies and products
  • Oversee electrical and mechanical assembly of parts and components
  • Set up and review assembly procedures to enhance quality and efficiency
  • Schedule assignments and provide technical guidance to subordinate assemblers
  • Evaluate the performance of subordinate level workers
  • Conduct time studies to optimize production processes
  • Input data into the Production quality database system
  • Ensure documentation, such as production drawings and BOMs, is accurate and understood
  • Perform assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies
  • Address equipment needs for the production line
  • Handle in-process issues and troubleshoot as necessary
  • Train new employees and assist with facility layout and workflow
  • Support the implementation of ISO standards (9000, 14000, 18000)
  • Organize and administer working schedules and leaves in coordination with the HR department.
  • Stay informed about and comply with Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Information Security policies, regulations, and management system requirements
  • Uphold high-quality standards in all duties and ensure subordinates act accordingly

Requirements:

  • Technical Degree or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Production or Manufacturing engineering
  • At least 3 years of experience in assembly and manufacturing operations
  • Familiarity with ISO 9000, ISO 14000 and OHSAS 18000 will be considered an advantage
  • Able to work in a team, be transparent and have a results driven personality
  • Excellent written and verbal Greek and English
  • Computer Literate
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • You must be able to live and work freely in the EU

Remuneration:
