Manpower, on behalf of our client a leading supplier of construction machinery and warehouse equipment we are seeking to recruit a Business Development Engineer to join their sales team in Latsia, Cyprus.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth by expanding product sales to current and prospective clients like construction machinery and warehouse equipment.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of company products and services
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through prospecting and lead generation
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to current and prospective clients
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans
- Conduct client site visits when necessary for mechanical and technical support
- Preparation and review of proposals, quotations, and contracts
- Provide support to clients and deal with customer enquiries, problems or complaints
- Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor offerings
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive Engineering or in any other a related field
- Proven experience as a sales engineer will be considered an advantage
- Prior experience with sales offers, quotations, bits
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Fluency in Greek and English Language
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Driving License (B)
- Be able to travel as needed in Cyprus territory for client visits
