Manpower Cyprus, on behalf of our client, a multinational Group, we are seeking to recruit a Financial Analyst to the CEO in Nicosia.
The successful candidate will act as the Financial Analyst to the CEO, while also providing support to the Board of Directors. The role combines financial analysis, business performance review, strategic insight, and executive support, contributing directly to the organisation’s financial performance, operational effectiveness, and overall business strategy.
Job Description
- Prepare, analyse, and interpret financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to support strategic decision-making.
- Provide financial analysis, commercial insights, and ad-hoc decision support directly to the CEO on key business matters, investments, performance trends, and strategic initiatives.
- Lead and coordinate regular business review processes across the Group, assessing operational and financial performance against budgets, forecasts, KPIs, and strategic objectives.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on business performance indicators, highlighting variances, risks, opportunities, and areas requiring management attention.
- Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, board papers, and other executive-level materials for the CEO, senior management, and Board of Directors.
- Liaise with various departments across the Group to gather, validate, and analyse financial and operational information for management reporting and business reviews.
- Track and follow up on Management Action Plans, ensuring accountability, timely execution, and progress reporting to the CEO and relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct market, financial, and business research to support strategic planning, performance improvement initiatives, and executive decision-making.
- Provide direct support to the CEO and senior management on confidential and sensitive matters, ensuring they remain informed of key developments, priorities, commitments, and responsibilities.
- Support the annual budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes in collaboration with department heads and senior leadership.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend actions to enhance reporting quality, business performance, and operational efficiency.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Financial Analyst, Auditor or Consultant
- ACA Qualified ( ICAEW )
- Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Finance, Business, Mathematics, Accounting will be considered an advantage
- Excellent command of the Greek and English languages, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent time management skills, capacity to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively to meet tight deadlines
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong sense of accountability, taking ownership over tasks and resolving issues in a proactive manner
- Excellent computer literacy, Advance Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
