Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and implement robust infrastructure, database, middleware, and cloud solutions based on Oracle technology.
- Design, implement, and support Oracle Database Enterprise Edition and related options (Active Dataguard, RAC, Partitioning, Advanced Security, Database Vault, Audit Vault, Database Firewall, Data Masking, Data Safe, Multitenant, and Database in-memory).
- Architect and support Oracle Cloud technologies, specifically focusing on OCI and Autonomous Database solutions.
- Lead consulting services for complex client solutions, managing installations, upgrades, migrations, tuning, testing, and high-availability/DR setups.
- Act as the technical presales lead by conducting pilot projects, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), Test Drives, demos, and technical presentations.
- Introduce and manage new support agreements and cloud engagements, including outsourcing services for large-scale enterprise clients.
- Drive the packaging of Oracle Cloud offerings by defining blueprints, selecting solutions, and qualifying leads.
Skills and Qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is considered an advantage).
- Minimum of four years of hands-on experience as a Technical Architect with presales and implementation expertise in Oracle-based solutions.
- Deep technical knowledge of Oracle Database Enterprise Edition and its advanced security options.
- Solid experience with Oracle Cloud technologies, including OCI design and Autonomous Database implementations.
- Fluency in both Greek and English, featuring excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Oracle Engineered Systems (Exadata, ODA) and relevant Oracle certifications serve as strong advantages.
