Manpower Cyprus, on behalf of our client, a leading renewable energy group in Cyprus, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join the Technical Department and support the maintenance and operational performance of photovoltaic (PV) installations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, technical troubleshooting, inspections, remote monitoring, and maintenance planning across the company’s PV portfolio. The role is suited to an electrical engineering professional with a hands-on approach and strong problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of photovoltaic parks and installations.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and equipment-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot faults and carry out corrective maintenance activities.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, maintenance manuals, and work instructions.
  • Install, dismantle, and assemble machinery, monitoring sensors, and other technical equipment.
  • Conduct remote monitoring of PV installations and identify potential operational issues.
  • Carry out scheduled and emergency inspections and prepare relevant technical reports.
  • Manage maintenance schedules and planned maintenance activities.
  • Maintain customer technical records and ensure proper documentation and filing.
  • Ensure maintenance activities comply with applicable quality, health & safety, and environmental requirements.
  • Provide on-duty technical support for PV installations during weekends and public holidays.
  • Perform other technical duties and responsibilities related to the position.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical engineering background, practical maintenance experience, and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively. A hands-on, reliable, and team-oriented approach is essential for success in this role.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognised university, technical institute, or equivalent institution.
  • Good knowledge of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Very good computer literacy.
  • Fluency in Greek and English.
  • Valid driving licence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ETEK registration or professional licence will be considered an advantage.
  • E&M Services (ΗΜΥ) licence will be considered an advantage.
