Manpower Cyprus, on behalf of our client, is seeking to recruit a skilled Payroll Officer to join our client finance and payroll team.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll for all company employees accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant tax and social insurance regulations
- Prepare and submit payroll-related reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual), including statutory forms such as T.D.7, T.D.63, and T.D.59
- Register employees with the Social Insurance Department and handle all correspondence with local authorities related to payroll and salary administration
- Calculate and verify timekeeping records, benefits, and deductions
- Respond to employee and management queries regarding salaries, payroll, and benefits
- Maintain accurate payroll records and assist with audits as required
- Support the Finance and HR departments with payroll information and related administrative tasks
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2+ years previous experience in a payroll department or similar role is essential
- Fluency in Greek and English (written and spoken)
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel; and experience with payroll software (e.g., Pocket, E-Soft, CyCom, ebos, Eurosoft)
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to handle confidential information
- Good understanding of Cypriot payroll legislation and social insurance procedures
- Excellent communication and time management skills
