Quality Technician

An excellent opportunity has arisen within the Manufacturing Industry. Manpower Cyprus, on behalf of our client a Global electrical protection and connectivity solutions company, we are seeking to recruit a Quality Technician to join their expanding team based in Dali, Nicosia.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collecting and analyzing quality data to meet quality objectives as directed by the Quality Manager
  • Conducting comprehensive inspections of products and ensuring adherence to internal quality standards
  • Reviewing documentation for compliance with established quality standards
  • Performing inspections on First Articles, incoming components, raw materials, fabricated parts, and in-process assemblies
  • Conducting subassembly tests to guarantee the production of quality products
  • Auditing and monitoring quality requirements in alignment with company quality assurance policies and customer specifications
  • Documenting and reporting inspection findings, results, and overseeing corrective actions.
  • Recording all inspection and testing data following approved procedures and good laboratory practices
  • Initiating quality improvement recommendations and reporting near misses
  • Contributing to the improvement and development of management systems, including participation in internal audit processes
  • Applying a continuous improvement and risk-based thinking approach to tasks
  • Adhering to and promoting awareness of Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Information Security policies, regulations, and management system requirements

Requirements:

  • Technical Degree or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • At least 2 years of experience in a technical field preferably in assembly operations
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001
  • Able to work in a team and possess good customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal Greek and English
  • Computer Literate
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • You must be able to live and work freely in the EU

Remuneration:
