Manpower Cyprus is partnering with a leading international company in the Construction Materials Industry to recruit an experienced Quarry Manager for a key operational role based in Oman.

We are looking for a driven and results-oriented professional — ideally based in Cyprus or Greece — who is ready to take on a high-impact leadership position in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

 

About the Role

As Quarry Manager, you will take full ownership of site operations and play a pivotal role in shaping the company's operational strategy. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing strategic plans to optimize efficiency, streamline processes, and drive continuous improvement
  • Overseeing all day-to-day operations — including production, supply chain, logistics, quality control, and customer service
  • Collaborating with senior leadership to define and execute corporate strategy, goals, and objectives
  • Monitoring equipment performance and maintenance schedules to ensure maximum reliability and uptime
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing operations team built on accountability, innovation, and excellence
  • Establishing KPIs and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and drive operational excellence
  • Building and maintaining strategic partnerships with suppliers, vendors, and key stakeholders
  • Ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements, environmental standards, and industry best practices
  • Reporting directly to the CEO on operational performance, challenges, and opportunities

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quarry operations management or a similar senior role
  • Strong technical knowledge of drilling, blasting, crushing, and screening processes
  • Solid understanding of safety regulations and environmental standards
  • Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Data-driven mindset with a track record of operational excellence
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant industry software
  • Fluent in English; Greek or Arabic language skills are a plus
  • Open and willing to relocate to Oman
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Working in an onsite setting
