Sales Manager (Events)

An excellent opportunity has arisen within the ‘’Fintech’’ marketing industry. Manpower Cyprus, on behalf of our client an international Events Management Company & Marketing Agency, we are seeking to recruit an Event Sales Manager specialized in promoting events to join their expanding team based in Limassol.

The ideal candidate will be responsible to drive the sales of the Company in related to events. He / She will generate leads for business and nurture relationships with customers by following a professional research consumer need and identify the best solutions to satisfy them. 

In addition, generating new business, new accounts, manage existing accounts, sales channels, formulate and implement sales strategies as well as ensuring that the yearly sales budget is achieved and exceeded by cooperating with the Head of Sales.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate solid relationships with major customers to ensure a continuous flow of sales revenue
  • Able to provide quick and timely responses, immediate communication to clients, and develop professional long-term business relationships
  • Closely following up on all business leads within a 24-hour response timeline to clients
  • Build rapport and establish long term relationships with customers
  • Manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives
  • Proactively utilize multiple methods to identify a strong pipeline of new business.
  • Contribute towards the development of exhibitor and sponsor database relevant to assigned exhibitions
  • Understand the entire sales process and be comfortable with initial sales and retention of portfolio.
  • Bringing in revenue through selling exhibition stand space & sponsorship opportunities
  • Determines action plans to meet goals and update action plans and financial objectives quarterly
  • Identifies new markets and business opportunities and to increase sales and represent the Company in various events and exhibitions
  • Conducts daily sales calls and arranges site inspection trips to the hotel by corporate clients
  • Collaborate with the Production team in regard to the client’s needs



  • 3+ years of experience in B2B sales is mandatory, ideally within the events, fintech and marketing industry
  • Ability to source and close new business is essential
  • Effective communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent oral and written presentation skills with confident telephone manner
  • Highly self-motivated and results oriented with limited supervision
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and sell multiple events at the same time
