Manpower Cyprus is recruiting on behalf of a leading client a full-time Stock Control Officer based in Nicosia.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Control & Stock Accuracy

  • Ensure the accurate recording and maintenance of the company's products and inventory.
  • Compare physical inventory with stock records in the inventory management system.
  • Update and maintain the accuracy of inventory management systems.
  • Prepare reports on inventory availability and stock movements.

Stock Audits & Verification

  • Conduct scheduled physical stock counts and inventory checks.
  • Perform unscheduled and ad hoc inventory audits based on operational needs.
  • Carry out regular visits to company stores, warehouses, and other storage or sales locations across Cyprus.

Analysis & Reporting

  • Identify inventory discrepancies, shortages, or process weaknesses and investigate their causes.
  • Record audit findings and prepare reports for Management.
  • Monitor the implementation of agreed corrective actions.

Process Improvement & Compliance

  • Recommend improvements to inventory management procedures and internal controls.
  • Ensure inventory management procedures comply with company policies and standards.
  • Contribute to maintaining transparency, reliability, and operational integrity across the business.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or within a warehouse and inventory management environment will be considered an advantage.
  • Very good computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word, as well as inventory management software.
  • Good command of both Greek and English, written and spoken.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to the company’s stores and facilities across Cyprus.
