Manpower Cyprus, on behalf of our client, one of the largest technology and entertainment chain stores in Europe, is looking to hire a Store Manager in Famagusta.
The suitable candidate will ensure the smooth operation of the store through the effective implementation of corporate objectives and effective management of the sales team, closely monitoring developments and ensuring the highest possible level of customer service with a view to maximizing of the store's sales and profitability opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Determines the strategy of the store in collaboration with the Regional Manager and based on the company's overall strategy
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and regulations.
- Create and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability.
- Monitors the store budget in revenue and expenses and takes initiatives to interpret and improve discrepancies
- Monitor and approves product orders for each department of the store
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock and returns
- Implement sales strategies to achieve store's sales targets, following the company's guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Marketing department, to ensure that all commercial actions are utilized in the best possible way
- Properly staffs the store's departments, with the necessary number of salespeople with the appropriate characteristics/qualifications
- Manage and train the department managers to provide knowledge and guidance to the rest of the sales team
- Effectively manages the store's employee’s and assign tasks appropriately
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience as a Retail Store Manager will be considered an advantage
- Degree Holder of a Bachelor’s or Masters
- Disciplined thinking and organizational spirit
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Responsibility and Team spirit
- Good knowledge of product categories technology and/or culture
- Ability to manage a team
- Self-motivation and Enthusiasm to achieve goals
- Good Customer Service Skills
- Excellent knowledge of the English language (oral and written)
