Manpower Cyprus, on behalf of our client, one of the largest international retail chain stores in Europe, is looking to hire a Store Manager in Limassol.
The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of the store through the effective implementation of corporate objectives. They will lead and manage the sales team, closely monitor developments, and ensure an excellent level of customer service, with the aim of maximizing the store’s sales and profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Determines the strategy of the store based on the Global company's overall strategy
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and regulations.
- Create and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability.
- Monitors the store budget in revenue and expenses and takes initiatives to interpret and improve discrepancies
- Implement sales strategies to achieve store's sales targets, following the company's guidelines.
- Properly staffs the store's departments, with the necessary number of salespeople with the appropriate characteristics/qualifications
- Manage and train the department sales managers to provide knowledge and guidance to the rest of the sales team
- Effectively manage the store's employee’s and assign tasks appropriately
Qualifications & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a Retail Store Manager
- Degree Holder of a Bachelor’s or Masters
- Disciplined thinking and organizational spirit
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Responsibility and Team spirit
- Good knowledge of product categories technology and/or culture
- Ability to manage a team
- Self-motivation and Enthusiasm to achieve goals
- Good Customer Service Skills
- Excellent knowledge of the English and Greek language (oral and written)
