An excellent opportunity has arisen within the tech industry. Manpower Cyprus, on behalf of our client a leading software and solutions group of Companies, we are seeking to recruit Systems Engineers to join their expanding team based in Nicosia.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design and configure servers, storage, virtualization and security solutions
- Manage windows / Linux operating systems and Active Directory
- Act as the primary technical contact for customers
- Responding to inquiries and provide technical assistance
- Conduct site surveys and audits
- Provide valuable feedback to the team based on customer requirements
- Lead and complete assigned projects with a focus on timely, high quality delivery
- Achieving reliable, timely and high-quality design and deployment work
- Troubleshoot system malfunctions and security systems issues, ensuring quick resolution
- Proactively maintain systems and infrastructure availability
- Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level support and create design and configuration documents
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in any other related field
- At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience as a Systems Engineer
- Proficient in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows and UNIX /Linux based environments
- Solid experience with virtualization, storage systems and monitoring
- Knowledge of ICT, with deep specialization in networking and security
- Microsoft Certifications for on premise and Cloud infrastructure
- Azure and Office 365 Configuration / Administration
- Fluency in Greek and English
- Ability to work independently or within a team
