Manpower Cyprus on behalf of our client is seeking to hire a Systems Engineer to join their team based in Limassol, Cyprus. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing, designing, installing, configuring, migrating, maintaining, and repairing Systems Infrastructure and associated components, from inception to hand-over, in an autonomous and self-sufficient manner.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design, install, configure, and maintain Infrastructure Solutions (Servers, Storage, Virtualization, Backup, Operating Systems, Cloud IaaS).
- Design and implement Hybrid Cloud solutions using leading technologies from vendors like Microsoft, HPE, IBM, AWS, and Oracle.
- Implement Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Solutions.
- Support Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, Hyper-V, VMware, Veeam, and Microsoft Cloud Services (Azure, Office 365).
- Engage with Presales teams to design and present optimal solutions to customers.
- Manage projects to ensure services are delivered on time and meet objectives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues, ensuring timely service restoration.
- Provide on-site support, technical assistance, and issue resolution for clients.
- Respond to inquiries from clients, staff, and vendors, offering technical assistance as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Systems Engineer.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of Infrastructure components, including Servers, Storage, Virtualization, Backup, Cloud IaaS/PaaS, and related technologies.
- Certifications in Servers, Virtualization, Backup, Operating Systems, or Cloud (HPE, Lenovo, Microsoft, VMware, AWS, Oracle) are a plus.
- Knowledge of Systems Management and Monitoring tools.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Greek and English (both written and spoken).
