Manpower Cyprus on behalf of our client, the world's largest and most experienced Outsourcing & Technology Services Specialist for Diplomatic Missions and Governments Worldwide, is looking to hire a Visa Customer Officer to join their team in Nicosia on a fulltime permanent basis.
The Visa Customer Officer will be responsible for facilitating the visa application process and managing both front office and back-office operations at Visa Application Centres (VACs). This role involves document scrutiny, customer service, data entry, and ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures. The officer will also handle cash transactions, maintain accurate records, and promote value-added services to applicants.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Process visa applications, including data entry and document verification
- Collect, scrutinize, and track passports and supporting documents
- Handle passport delivery to consulates, couriers, applicants, or via post
- Scan, upload, and maintain application documentation
- Respond to customer queries in person, by email, and over the phone
- Manage fee collection and cash handling (if assigned)
- Prepare daily reports and assist with general administrative duties
- Perform additional tasks as required to support business operations
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a customer-facing or administrative role is preferred
- Fluent in English spoken and written
- Knowledge of an international language is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- High attention to accuracy and detail
- Applicants must be eligible to work or have legal authorization to work in Cyprus
